Selby Jennings has partnered with a leading hedge fund who is looking to add to their Healthcare teams.Role Overview:They are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Equity Research Analyst to join their Healthcare team, specializing in Therapeutics or Medical Technology (MedTech).Key Responsibilities:Conduct comprehensive research on companies within the Therapeutics and/or MedTech sectors, covering areas such as biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, diagnostics, and medical devices.Analyze clinical data, regulatory developments, and competitive landscapes to assess investment potential.Build and maintain detailed financial models to evaluate company performance and valuation.Stay abreast of scientific advancements, healthcare trends, and market drivers to inform investment strategies.Present clear, actionable investment recommendations to portfolio managers and senior team members.Collaborate with other research analysts and investment professionals across teams.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Finance, or a related field; advanced degrees (PhD, MD, or MBA) or CFA designation preferred.2+ years of experience in equity research, investment banking, management consulting, or a related field with a focus on Healthcare, Therapeutics, or MedTech.Strong understanding of healthcare markets, clinical trial processes, and regulatory frameworks.Exceptional analytical and financial modeling skills.Ability to synthesize complex information into actionable insights.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Discipline(s): Investment ManagementJob type: Permanent
