Description
Key responsibilities include collaborating with operations to gather and document business requirements, identifying potential issues, and writing detailed functional specifications for IT development. The role involves developing user test cases, validating test results, conducting training, coordinating go-live, and ensuring system functionality. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for project scoping, planning, progress reporting, and managing risks and communications.
Profile
Successful candidates will have at least 5 years of business analysis experience in the finance industry, with deep knowledge of US broker dealer equity back office systems such as Broadridge Shadow, BPS, or FIS Phase 3. They will possess strong IT skills, including the ability to review source code, write and execute SQL queries, and understand scripts in various languages (Windows, Unix, Bash, Perl, Python), alongside a keen ability to analyze complex problems and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Additional knowledge of C++, C#, XML, XSLT, and Excel VBA is a plus.
