Please take note of the following qualifications and requirements:

Minimum Education

• High School diploma or GED equivalent is required
• Graduated from an approved EMT Paramedic program

Certifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) from the AHA upon hire
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) obtained within 90 days of hire is required
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) obtained within 90 days of hire is preferred
• NC Certified EMT-P
• Good communication skills, computer skills, and ability to work with others as a team to ensure quality patient care

Minimum Work Experience

• A minimum of two years of pre-hospital paramedic experience is preferred
