Registered Nurse Overview: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Emergency Room Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. As an ER Registered Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the well-being of our most acutely and or critically ill patients.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor and record vital signs, symptoms, and changes in patients' conditions
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Provide patient education on disease prevention, treatment options, and self-care techniques
- Assist with diagnostic tests and interpret results
- Perform specialized procedures such as IV insertion, Monitor and ensure the safety and comfort of patients during critical care situations
- Coordinate and manage patient care through case management techniques Requirements
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in NY
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS
- TNCC- preferred
- Proficient in ventilator management, and critical care procedures -
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, disease processes, and treatment options
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
