We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Ergonomist to join our team for a 9+ month contract. Compensation:
- Hourly Rate: $50-$54/hr
- No Per Diem Available
- Completion Bonus: $150/month
- Pay: Weekly
Schedule:
- Hours: 40 hours (Monda - Friday 8 am - 4 pm)
Project Scope:
This position focuses on manufacturing ergonomics, with responsibilities including ergonomic assessments, risk mitigation, and implementation of best practices to enhance employee safety and workplace efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in ergonomics, specifically in manufacturing settings.
- Certifications: Certified Ergonomic Assessment Specialist (CEAS) OR Certified Ergo Assessor (CEA) designation OR BCSP Certification (CSP or ASP)
- Bachelor's degree in Ergonomics, Industrial Engineering, Occupational Health, or a related field.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive ergonomic assessments within manufacturing facilities.
- Identify ergonomic risk factors and develop mitigation strategies to enhance workplace safety.
- Design and implement ergonomic solutions that align with industry best practices.
- Monitor the effectiveness of ergonomic programs and recommend improvements as needed.
- Provide training and guidance on ergonomic practices to employees and management.
- Maintain accurate documentation and prepare detailed reports for stakeholders.
- Collaborate with teams to ensure compliance with ergonomic and safety standards.
Skills:
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities in a manufacturing setting.
- Excellent communication and public speaking skills to convey ergonomic principles effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for reporting and documentation.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize tasks independently.
