POSITION DETAILS Department: EMS Operations Location: US:PA:Lewisburg Typical Work Schedule: Days & Evenings (0700-1900, rotating weekends and holidays) Primary Shift: Shift 1 Work Type: 1.0 FTE (full-time, 80 hours biweekly) Exempt: No SUMMARY The Evangelical Regional Mobile Medical Services (ERMMS) Field Supervisor's primary role is supervising the ERMMS system on assigned shift ensuring safe, efficient and effective operations. Functions as a paramedic when required to provide advanced life support to patients in the pre hospital setting. Works under general supervision of the Clinical Director, ERMMS. QUALIFICATIONS 1. High school diploma or equivalent is required, associate's degree in paramedic studies, emergency management or related preferred. 2. Three years' experience providing pre-hospital emergency care required. 3. Current Pennsylvania certification as a Paramedic and National Registry Certification is mandatory. Current CPR, ACLS and PALS certification required with instructor certification optional. 4. Current EVOC certification within one year of employment. 5. Current Hazardous Materials Level I awareness certification yearly. 6. Driving a company vehicle (or personal vehicle, as required) is a requirement of the position, and as a condition of employment this position requires the job holder to have and maintain a satisfactory driving record. a. Valid PA driver's license and proof of current automobile insurance coverage required. b. Driving records are obtained prior to new hire starting and are checked intermittently as needed but not less than every three years. 7. Pennsylvania state police criminal record check, child abuse history clearance and an FBI criminal history check required.
