Job Title: ERP Conversion Lead

About the Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a ERP Data Conversion lead. This role is critical in the context of our enterprise resource planning (ERP) system migration project, where candidate will be responsible for leading the migration program from existing for migration to a new Oracle fusion project.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of data migration, Oracle Cloud implementations, and data mapping and transformation. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent leadership skills, a strong background in Oracle fusion, and experience with data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL).
Responsibilities
- Lead Data Conversion Efforts: Oversee the entire data conversion process for Oracle and Driscoll's boundary applications including analysis, mapping, extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL). Ensure successful conversion of data from legacy systems to Oracle systems with minimal disruption to business operations.
- Project Lead: Coordinate and manage all data conversion-related activities in alignment with project timelines and deliverables with SI partner and project manager. Ensure detailed conversion plan is built, and ensure resources, schedules, and tasks are effectively managed.
- ETL Process Management: Work with technical teams to ensure the extraction of data from source systems, transformation to meet business needs, and loading into the target systems.
- Data Quality and Integrity: Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and quality of data during the conversion process. Develop and implement validation and testing strategies to verify data correctness post-conversion.
- Collaboration with Cross-functional Teams: Collaborate with functional teams (e.g., finance, supply chain) to ensure the successful integration of data into the Oracle system. Work with Oracle functional consultants to validate and refine conversion processes.
- Reporting: Provide regular status updates to senior management and project teams.
- Mentorship & Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of data conversion analysts and developers. Provide guidance and support to team members and ensure best practices are followed throughout the project.
Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 10+ years of experience in data migration or conversion projects, including at least 4 years working with Oracle Fusion
- Knowledge of Oracle applications modules, particularly in the areas of Supply Chain, Procurement, Order Management and Finance, is highly preferred.
- Experience with data mapping, data cleansing, and data transformation.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proven experience managing and leading cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with business and technical teams.
- Experience with data validation and reconciliation processes.
- Strong project management skills with experience leading complex projects.
