Job Description:

Our client, an elite printing service in Milton, WI, is looking for an ERP Implementation consultant. This is a temp role, and the successful candidate must be immediately available to start a new role.

Client Details

Leading provider of printing services based in Milton, WI. This role offers hybrid flexibility after the first couple months, and the chance to work with a national company on their ERP implementation.

Description

This role will involve:

  • Evaluate accounting team structure, roles, and training needs across AP/AR, tax, treasury, budgeting, and reporting functions.
  • Analyze and document existing workflows, from sales order entry through billing.
  • Identify redundancies, gaps, and areas for process improvement.
  • Review manual processes and audit procedures to validate compliance and efficiency
  • Collaborate with ERP team members and leadership to align accounting processes with the new Business Central ERP system.
  • Provide recommendations for process automation and efficiency, including transitioning manual AP/AR tasks to automated solutions.
  • Ensure proper documentation of updated workflows and training materials.
  • Clarify roles and responsibilities for the accounting team, addressing skill gaps and training needs.
  • Develop a hiring plan for long-term organizational success.
  • Propose technology enhancements, including AI and automation solutions, to support scalability.
  • Deliver improved reporting packages tailored to key stakeholders (ownership, executive leadership, clients, vendors, and banks).

Profile

The successful candidate will have:

  • Proven experience in financial consulting, with a focus on ERP implementation
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP principles and sales/use tax compliance.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing, printing, or direct mail industries is a plus.
  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills, with the ability to document processes and train teams.
  • A collaborative, solution-oriented approach to change management.
  • Experience with process automation and software recommendations is highly desirable.
