ERP Programmer On-site- Melville, NY Direct Hire $140-150K Experience
- ERP Systems
- In-depth understanding of functionality of Manufacturing ERP/MES systems. This would ideally include experience with multiple ERPs plus a broad understanding of standard capabilities.
- Highly knowledgeable of Microsoft SQL Server relational databases, development, data manipulation, table structures, views, etc.
- Ability to troubleshoot both day-to-day and complex issues; often using a combination of front-end and database level investigation.
- Solid understanding of manufacturing operations and concepts; items, bills of materials, inventory, finances, etc.
- Experience with acquisitions, integrations, migrations.
- Application Development
- Maintain and update existing applications that support the company's ERP operations
- Design and write new applications as needed by the company
- SQL report writing
- Proficiency in report applications
- PowerBI, Crystal Reports, SSRS
- Ability to maintain existing reports
- Write new reports as needed
- Business Intelligence (BI)
- Maintain existing BI visualizations
- Develop new visualizations
- Technical documentation
- Help create how-to guides for the user base
- Supporting documentation for MIS team members
Technical Skills
- BS/BA/AA degree from an accredited college with a focus in computer science, engineering, information systems, data visualization, or related field
- 10+ years of experience personally supporting ERP / MES / CRM applications
- 5+ years of experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Deep experience with multiple ERP systems
- Proficiency with MS SQL
- Proficient in .NET programming
- Experience with BI tools (Microsoft BI preferred)
- Understanding of systems development lifecycle methodologies

- Confidence in public settings (meetings/development sessions)
- Excellent communication skills (Oral and Written), interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently without oversight
