We are seeking an experienced ERP Systems Administrator to oversee our integrated ERP ecosystem, with a primary focus on Microsoft Business Central, Cosmos, and Continia. This role is crucial for maintaining, optimizing, and integrating these systems to ensure a seamless application experience across our organization. Key Responsibilities: System Administration:
- Manage and maintain Microsoft Business Central, Cosmos, and Continia systems
- Perform regular updates, upgrades, and patches across all ERP components
- Monitor system performance and ensure optimal operation
- Maintain licensing for all ERP products and establish procedures for license management
- Setup and configure Business Central modules as defined by the Statement of Work and corresponding project plan
Integration and Data Management:
- Oversee the integration between Business Central, Cosmos, and Continia
- Ensure seamless data flow and consistency across all ERP components
- Develop and maintain data management strategies and procedures
- Prepare data conversion and migration templates for stakeholders
- Import data, test results, and perform test validation
User Support and Training:
- Provide technical support for all ERP related issues
- Conduct training sessions and create documentation for end-users
- Collaborate with IT team to resolve complex system issues
- Deliver training to clients on how to use Business Central
- Provide ongoing support to stakeholders
- Provide User Acceptance Testing support as defined in the project plan
Security and Compliance:
- Implement and maintain security protocols across the ERP ecosystem
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations
- Conduct regular audits to ensure data integrity and security
Continuous Improvement and Collaboration:
- Identify opportunities to enhance ERP functionality and performance
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and implement improvements
- Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in ERP administration
- Work collaboratively with developers, project managers, and other BC consultants to ensure project success
- Work closely with Project Manager and/or Developer in preparing technical specifications documentation
- Document project requirements, status, and issues
- Liaison with third-party solution providers (ISVs) and install and configure solutions as required
- Continuously improve knowledge of Dynamics Business Central and related technologies
- Keep up with new features and functionality of BC - hotfixes and semi-annual upgrade releases
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of ERP principles and best practices
- Experience with database management and SQL
- Knowledge of financial processes and reporting
- Familiarity with API integrations and web services
- Understanding of data privacy regulations (GDPR, HIPAA, etc.)
- Experience with cloud-based ERP systems
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools
- This role requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. The ideal candidate will have relevant ERP certifications and a proven track record in administering complex ERP environments.
