This highly regarded Trusts and Estate practice group, is seeking an motivated and ascending Associate with a minimum of 7 years of experience in an active practice group representing clients in all aspects of estate planning, estate and trust administration, and conservatorships. An opportunity to work with a group of subject matter experts, led by a group chair highly regarded for their support and development of associates and partners alike.
The ideal candidate will have in-depth experience representing fiduciaries in estate and trust administrations, including probate proceedings, estate and fiduciary income tax matters. Additionally, superior writing skills are required for estate planning, including drafting, funding, and administering Wills, Revocable Trusts, ILITs ,IDGTs, QPRTs, and other irrevocable trusts.
Associate will advise clients and partners on asset ownership and beneficiary designations, probate and estate tax (federal and state) avoidance strategies, strategies to pass wealth to successor generations for high net wealth families including asset protection, decanting, and business succession planning.

A minimum of seven years of experience in estate planning and administration within a Big Law, midsized or boutique firm is required. Compensation includes salary (220K-250K+) plus bonus and excellent benefits package. Bachelors Degree and JD required. NY Bar admission required.
