Job DescriptionEstate Planning Paralegal Our client, a well-established law firm with a respected reputation in estate planning and probate law, is seeking a skilled and motivated Estate Planning Paralegal to join their Richmond, Virginia team. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented and experienced paralegal to advance their career in a supportive and client-focused legal environment. Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist attorneys with all aspects of estate planning, trust administration, and probate matters.
  • Prepare and organize legal documents, including wills, trusts, and powers of attorney.
  • Manage client files, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with legal standards.
  • Conduct client intake and maintain regular communication with clients regarding case updates.
  • Coordinate with financial institutions and other third parties as needed for case progression.
  • Assist in gathering, organizing, and summarizing documents and evidence for estate and probate cases.
  • Collaborate with attorneys to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow within the estate planning team.
Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience as a paralegal, with a focus on estate planning and probate matters.
  • Residency in Richmond, Virginia, or a willingness to relocate.
  • Strong organizational skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in legal research and document drafting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for client interactions.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic legal environment.
