DescriptionPOSITION SUMMARYSpecialize in the enhancement and health of the skin. Responsible for performing a variety of facial and body techniques and practices to increase, improve, or maintain the healthy appearance of the skin.GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITIESThe following statements are intended as general illustrations of the work in this class and are not all- inclusive:Perform procedures such as facials, laser, wax, threading, and depilatory hair removal, chemical/acid peels, exfoliation, wraps and masks, makeup application and microdermabrasionPerform all services in accordance with del Lago standards, policies, and proceduresProvide appropriate and consistent levels of guest service and hospitalityMaintain knowledge of all product information used during guest servicesParticipate in individual home spa product sales with every guestMaintain up-to-date knowledge of Spa and Salon industry trendsAttend and fully participate in all mandatory trainings and meetingsRequired to complete daily tasks at request of managementEnsure all treatment areas are clean and neat in accordance with department standardsDisplay a professional and cooperative demeanor in all interactions with department staff, other del Lago employees, vendors, and guestsKnowledge of company and property and can share this knowledge with guestsOther duties as assignedWORKING CONDITIONSMust have ability to:Communicate effectively with all levels of Team Members, guests, and outside contactsRequired to work effectively in a fast-paced environmentRequired to move around all work areas effectively and efficientlyRequired to work long hours, including nights, weekends, and holidaysRequired to stand and sit for extended periods of timeJOB QUALIFICATIONSHigh school diploma or equivalent is required. Current NYS license in Beauty Enhancement is required. One year experience in administering skincare/depilatory services in a luxury resort or spa setting. Proficiency in all aspects of skincare/depilatory services. Excellent personal presentation, good communication skills and a friendly, caring personality.
