Job Description:
NASC GLOBAL, a leading HR Consulting and Management firm, is excited to support the search for an experienced professional for our valued client. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned professional to make a significant impact within a dynamic organization. Position Overview: The Estimator will support the business growth by creating job estimates for potential Commercial Contractor clients using architectural plans and specifications. Compensation: Our client offers a competitive compensation package ranging from $70,000 to $110,000, commensurate with your experience, education, certifications, and skill set. This reflects a strong commitment to attracting top-tier talent for this pivotal role. Key Responsibilities:
  • Acquire understanding of the scope of work for projects to be bid.
  • Communicate with departments and internal salespersons to maximize sales margins while remaining competitive in the market.
  • Prepare both material and labor cost analysis and apply appropriate markups.
  • Complete written estimates and distribute to the appropriate distribution channel.
  • Ensure timely completion of estimates.
  • May need to occasionally visit jobsites or other venues to gather essential information.
  • Select proper metrics to produce efficient and accurate estimates.
  • Solicit vendor or subcontractor quotes as needed to finalize a complete and accurate estimate.
  • Maintain consistent clear communication with external and internal customers.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Associates Degree or Relevant education.
  • Experience in Glass / Door installation and know how to bid, estimate for those products.
  • Previous Estimating experience in construction or manufacturing.
  • Proficiency using Bluebeam, Excel, Word.
  • Knowledge in understanding project specifications and architectural plans.
  • Previous commercial installation or fabrication experience.
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task.
  • Self-motivated.
