  • Project Estimation: Review project documents, specifications, and drawings to develop comprehensive cost estimates.
  • Subcontractor Relations: Solicit bids from subcontractors and suppliers, and analyze proposals to ensure accurate inclusion in the estimate.
  • Cost Analysis: Analyze project budgets, including labor, material, and equipment costs, to ensure competitive and profitable bids.
  • Value Engineering: Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or project timelines.
  • Collaboration: Work with the project management and preconstruction teams to refine estimates based on client requirements and project objectives.
  • Reporting: Prepare detailed bid proposals and present estimates to clients and internal teams.

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in estimating commercial construction projects.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail in reading drawings, specifications, and project documents.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and negotiation skills to effectively liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
