We're targeting to have 1000 people globally by 2030 to support our expansion plans in current locations as well as additional territories.If you want to play an integral part in achieving our ambitious plans for growth and delivering an exceptional consultancy service for our clients in the LATAM & NA region, whilst progressing your own career in a supportive and dynamic environment, we want to hear from you!DescriptionWe are looking for an Estimator/Senior Estimator who will be tasked with creating and managing budgets and making improvements, reviewing plans, preparing take-offs and estimates, negotiating with various contractors and vendors, as well as building relationships with clients and site managers.Key Responsibilities
  • Estimating and BoQs based on GC pricing template through engineering development from 30% through 100% IFC
  • Work with engineering to provide cost-effective solutions.
  • Provide procurement support with market analysis, RFP process, bid review and leveling, contract negotiations, and contract award for GC and equipment vendors
  • Post-contract services of all cost management activities are to be administered individually through project phases including:
i. Cost Estimate Updates ii. GC Bid Updates iii. GMP Buyout Submissions iv. Commercial Meetings v. Cost Reporting vi. Payment Applications vii. Change Orders viii. Contingency Usage Requests ix. Final Accounts
  • Prepare cost Estimates/Cost Plan for review including benchmarking
  • Develop a variety of Value Engineering/Life Cycle Costing options
  • Contribute to meetings on the Pre-contract Process
  • Contribute and assist in the preparation of the Procurement Strategy/ Report
  • Attend Client meetings along with senior colleagues as required and record relevant discussion points and actions
  • Attend Design Team meetings, capture and advise on potential cost implications and implement meeting outcomes
  • Contribute and assist in the development of project templates
  • Assist with measurements and research pricing for Development Appraisals
  • Draft and finalize the Pre-Qualification Questionnaire for review
  • Review and tabulate PQQ responses
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications/ Relevant Experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • 3 years minimum cost management or estimating experience
  • Cost Manager/Estimator with DC experience
  • CostX proficient
  • Proficient in the use of the required functions in Microsoft Office skills, (e.g., Excel, Word & PowerPoint) to an appropriate level
  • Knowledge of relevant construction technologies and trends (Sustainability) to assist with appropriate options and cost implications
  • Great personal relationships skills and ability to work with a wider interdisciplinary team of people
  • Organized and detail-oriented
