My client, a top Water and Wastewater contractor, known for their rapidly growing portfolio and recently surpassing $150M in annual revenue, is seeking an experienced Estimator to join their team in Indianapolis. The ideal candidate will have strong estimating skills in either mechanical work (process piping) or civil work (concrete or earthwork) on large-scale water projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate estimates for water and wastewater treatment projects.
- Review project plans, specifications, and other documents to prepare detailed cost estimates.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure estimates align with project scope and timelines.
- Assist in pricing and bidding for new projects while identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Analyze and evaluate subcontractor and supplier proposals to ensure project cost efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in estimating mechanical work (process piping) or civil work (concrete or earthwork) on water/wastewater projects.
- Strong understanding of project specifications, construction methods, and materials.
- Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
