Responsibilities
- Provide precise, timely, and comprehensive cost estimates for all construction projects, including both conceptual and hard bid opportunities. This requires a thorough review of the project scope to accurately assess the opportunity. A key aspect of any bid is the estimators ability to foresee all elements of the job.
- Analyze bids from subcontractors and material suppliers to ensure accuracy, completeness, and reliability. This process includes performing take-offs for various phases of the project.
- Review proposal specifications and drawings, attend pre-bid meetings, and determine the scope of work and necessary contents of the estimate.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction or related experience
- Solid understanding of Commercial Construction and General Contracting experience
- 3 - 8 years' of commercial construction experience preferred
- Proficient in Bluebeam
