Summary:

The Civil Estimator is responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates for civil construction projects on our power side of the company. This role involves analyzing project plans, specifications, and site conditions to accurately estimate the total costs of complex civil construction projects.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

* Prepare and present accurate cost estimates for civil construction projects.

* Analyze project plans, specifications, and site conditions to determine scope and cost of work.

* Develop and maintain professional relationships.

* Participate in bid preparation and submission processes.

* Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure project cost feasibility.

Requirements:

* In-depth knowledge of civil construction processes and materials.

* Strong analytical, mathematical, and technical skills.

* Proficiency in InEight estimating software.

* Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

* Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

* Attend site visits and pre-bid meetings.

Education and Experience:

* Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.

* Minimum of 3 years of experience in estimating heavy civil construction projects.
