We are seeking an experienced Project Estimator to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities
- Identify potential projects and lead bidding efforts.
- Review project specifications and drawings to send bid invitations.
- Manage subcontractor and user data in the company directory.
- Oversee material and labor takeoffs for self-performed work.
- Collect and evaluate subcontractor pricing.
- Establish baseline budgets and project schedules.
- Maintain and organize a centralized cost-estimating database for accuracy and efficiency.
- Identify cost savings and develop strategies for cost mitigation.
- Perform cost analysis for change orders and completed projects to identify discrepancies.
- Recommend improvements to cost estimation procedures and identify cost reduction opportunities.
- Analyze project risks and propose mitigation strategies.
- Provide feedback on project proposals to stakeholders.
- Assist with design coordination and value engineering (VE) tasks.
- Support other project-related activities as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in construction management or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience estimating commercial construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of the commercial construction industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; Procore experience is a plus.
- Valid driver's license required.
