- Estimate and Bid Preparation: Accurately calculate estimates and prepare bids for roofing and exterior construction projects, ensuring they align with project specifications and client expectations.
- Project Scheduling and Coordination: Ensure all jobs are properly scheduled, materials are delivered on time, and project deadlines are met. Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and the project team to ensure smooth execution.
- Site Safety Management: Maintain roofing safety compliance and develop site safety plans, ensuring all projects adhere to safety regulations.
- Blueprint and Specification Review: Review job specs and blueprints thoroughly to ensure accurate project estimates and adherence to design requirements.
- Customer Follow-Up: Conduct follow-ups with customers to ensure satisfaction with completed projects, addressing any concerns or additional needs promptly.
- Subcontractor Supervision: Oversee subcontractors on job sites to ensure work is completed to the highest standards and within the agreed timelines.
- Profit Margin Management: Collaborate with the Owner and Accountant to monitor profit margins and align them with customer service goals.
- Multi-Project Management: Manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring all activities are coordinated effectively and efficiently.
The ideal candidate should possess:
- Extensive Roofing Knowledge: Strong understanding of all aspects of roofing construction, repair, and estimation, with the ability to handle both residential and multi-family dwelling projects.
- Construction Experience: Knowledge of siding and other exterior construction processes is highly preferred.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe PDF.
- Self-Starter: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating strong planning, goal-setting, and organizational skills.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and thoroughness in all tasks, with a strong commitment to quality and professionalism.
- Professionalism: Maintain a professional appearance and work ethic at all times, representing Robison Construction with integrity.
- Bilingual Skills: Proficiency in both English and Spanish is a plus.
- Driver's License: A valid driver's license is required.
Required Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent; a College or Trade degree is a plus.
Required Experience:
- Roofing Experience: A minimum of 4 years of experience in roofing construction and estimation.
- Estimating Experience: At least 4 years of experience in preparing estimates for construction projects.
- General Construction Knowledge: 1 - 2 years of general construction experience is preferred.
