Our Columbia Division has an opening for an Estimator Trainee.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits (some travel may be required) to familiarize yourself with the jobsite conditions and scope.Review and comprehend project specifications and drawings.Perform detailed takeoffs.Identify approach, labor, equipment, materials, and time requirements for each specific project.Compute cost by analyzing labor, equipment, materials, and time requirements for each specific project.Prepare and submit detailed proposals.Maintain and price change orders.Accumulate, evaluate, and document historical cost data.Analyze, manage, and mitigate risks by following standards set forth by OSHA and DHG's EHS Program.Contribute to team effort by performing and accomplishing related tasks as needed.Experience working in HCSS, Primavera, and Excel.Qualifications:Time management and organizational skills.Excellent written & verbal communication skills.D.H.
