Job DetailsJob Details:We are seeking a seasoned and detail-oriented Estimator with proficiency in Xactimate software for our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction estimating, with a keen focus on insurance approval processes. This position is pivotal in providing accurate and competitive project estimates that drive our business forward. You will be part of a collaborative team to deliver comprehensive cost estimates and proposals. The role requires a minimum of 2+ years of experience.Responsibilities:
  • Utilize Xactimate software to prepare and present detailed and accurate cost estimates for construction projects.
  • Analyze and comprehend project specifications, drawings, contracts, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
  • Conduct thorough risk analysis to support the decision-making process.
  • Negotiate and liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure that all project requirements are met.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to develop a comprehensive understanding of the project and ensure accurate estimates.
  • Prepare and present cost reports and pricing suggestions to management.
  • Maintain current knowledge of industry trends and technical developments that affect target markets.
  • Ensure all work complies with relevant laws, regulations, and standards.
  • Handle insurance approval processes efficiently and effectively.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in construction estimating, with a strong focus on insurance approval processes.
  • Proficiency in Xactimate software is a must.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and legal requirements.
  • Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office Suite.
