We're looking for people who are determined to make life better for people around the world.Job title: Ethics and Compliance OfficerLocation: Oslo or Copenhagen (hybrid working)Reports to: Senior Director-Ethics & ComplianceROLE OVERVIEW:As the Ethics and Compliance Officer, you will be responsible for the implementation of Lilly's ethics and compliance program within Norway and Denmark. More precisely, you will make risk determinations and mitigation plans to ensure that programs and practices implemented comply with the company's standards and ultimately the laws and regulations in which Lilly operates.MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:Provide Ethics and Compliance leadership and guidance to Lilly colleagues within the scope of responsibilities, focusing on enabling organizational adherence to The Red Book, Lilly's Code of Conduct, as well as all applicable laws, regulations, and industry codes of conduct.Take responsibility for how the business is supported locally from an Ethics and Compliance perspective, ensuring that affiliate personnel understand nuances to build effective controls.Coordinate with other functions for holistic analysis of programs and activities, ensuring that controls are in line with company standards.Provide representation for Lilly with specific external industry Ethics and Compliance peer-groups and organizations in alignment with Ethics and Compliance external engagement strategy.BASIC REQUIREMENTS:Minimum of few years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry OR experience in the ethics & compliance field in another industry.Advanced level of Norwegian; Danish and English (written and verbal).Bachelor's Degree.Demonstrated history of operating with integrity, i.e., no known or documented compliance violations in the past 12 months.Ability to communicate and influence without authority.ADDITIONAL SKILLS & PREFERENCES:Advanced degree or relevant experience preferred.Knowledge of Swedish and Finnish preferred.High resilience and ability to challenge and influence in a productive and constructive way.Business travel expected c. 20%.EMBRACING DIVERSITY:Embracing diversity is at the core of our long-held value of respect for people.
