Overview OATS from AARP helps older adults learn to use and leverage technology to transform their lives and their communities. Through its flagship program, Senior Planet, OATS works closely with older adults to create extraordinary experiences in-person and online. The Evaluation Analyst participates in the evaluation of existing engagement programs to identify improvements and to measure outcomes. Generates and analyzes standard reports for use in decision making, setting organization priorities, and to inform strategy. Responsibilities Develops and tests data collection tools and processes, including surveys and interviews. Conducts analyses of participant and site characteristics, outputs, and outcomes for various initiatives to determine variability, identify patterns, and answer evaluation questions. Describes and explains the results of data analyses to non-technical audiences in clear verbal and written form. Executes tasks associated with data visualization projects. Documents requirements needed to conduct analyses and process and validate data components. Support data integration and extraction from survey systems and the organization's data tracking tools. Qualifications 3 years of experience in data analysis and research methodologies, with expertise in data collection platforms (e.g., Qualtrics), data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau), and presentation software (e.g., PowerPoint). Skilled in examining data for accuracy and working with stakeholders to ensure adherence to data entry and handling protocols. Strong attention to detail with an ability to connect data insights to broader social outcomes. Proficient in using logic models, especially within nonprofit and social impact initiatives. Experienced in producing data insights reports and supporting the development of specialized research reports, primarily for program evaluation and impact assessment. Bachelor's degree. Preferred: Background in program evaluation within nonprofit, NGO, or government sectors is highly desirable. Strong ability to convey data insights and implications effectively, translating findings into actionable recommendations. Master's degree preferred.
