Our Part Time Evening and Weekend Security will protect and secure the assets of Institution. Ensuring that all property is protected and secured and is responsible for ensuring the safety and protection of all staff, students, and visitors on campus during scheduled shift. As an employee of, and the Colorado Community College System, this position is required to uphold and enforce the policies of LCC and CCCS, and all local, state and federal laws. This position will comply with all student privacy laws (FERPA); and is a mandatory reporter of any suspected illegal activity.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:* Conducting foot patrols of campus buildings* Locking and unlocking doors as per facility use schedule* Contacting emergency personnel for assistance in preventing harm to individuals or campus property as needed* Making minor repairs and/or contacting appropriate campus staff* Provide written incident reports to supervisor* Other duties as assigned.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:* Associates Degree or equivalent experience in a security position* Current Colorado Driver's LicensePart Time Hours: Monday - Thursday, 8:00 p.m. - 12:00 a.m. / Friday - Sunday, 9:00 p.m. - 1:00 a.m.Deadline to Submit Application Material: Preferred start date is February 1, 2024.
