Adirondack Beverages is seeking an evening Dispatcher/Warehouse Administration Associate for our facility in Scotia, NY. Evening hours - 4 pm to 12:30a, Monday thru Friday. Primary responsibilities will be to help drivers as they will come in as you will be their first point of contact. You will process their paperwork and assign them a door number for pickup/drop-off. After this is complete, you will process their paperwork, have them sign off before sending them on their way. You'll need to be demonstrative in a busy and sometimes noisy environment. Requirements:
- Be able to learn and be proficient in AS400 software
- Check in drivers, process their paperwork and assign them to the proper doors using AS400 software
- Gain familiarity with the company's yard system to expedite logistics in an efficient manner
- Good computer skills that require long periods behind the screen
- Be attentive when it comes to receiving and sending emails
- Experience with Microsoft Outlook preferred-Company willing to train.
- Process Bill of Ladings and print tags to keep things moving
- Attention to detail is a must
- Be able to read spreadsheets
- Communicate with drivers for arranging both pick-ups and drop-offs
- Work well under pressure.
