We offer a wide variety of services for businesses, allowing them to run efficiently and effectively while helping to create jobs and opportunities to help individuals live independently and productively.Job DescriptionWorks under the general direction of the Business Services Area Operations Manager to oversee the performance of all custodial maintenance tasks, grounds upkeep, and all required reports by performing the following essential duties and responsibilities:
- Trains and instructs employees in the procedures necessary to deliver the services required on the contracted scope of work.
- Provides or oversees training and continued training of business services employees.
- Regularly monitors individual employee's productivity and provides feedback to employees and recommendations for remediation to the Area Operations Manager.
- Instructs employees in the proper/safe use of all custodial products and equipment to ensure procedures are followed.
- Assist with maintenance of inventory and equipment and supplies assigned to work crews and contract sites.
- Ensures that the organizations' property and equipment is properly maintained and accounted
- Trains employees in emergency procedures for fire, accident, crime, malfunctioning of systems and adverse weather conditions, including Safety Committee recommendations.
- Maintains organizations department product list and Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
- Ensures that all reports are properly completed and submitted by required due date.
- Learn and implement that specifications of assigned contract/worksite.
- Attend all required staff trainings.
- Perform work of employees that results in an employee's absence.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Responsible for the accuracy of employee time sheets and submits time sheets in a timely manner to the Area Operations Manager.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred; and one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must have valid driver's license, clean driving history, and reliable transportation.
- Must have working knowledge of OSHA.
- Must have ability to pass criminal background check and drug screen.
