Hiring Evening Residential Counselor and Awake Overnight Counselor Positions Available! About Us: VPI is committed to providing individualized comprehensive services to children and adolescents who often have experienced complex developmental trauma. Our students, in response to their life experiences, can present them with a constellation of adaptive mechanisms that have become distressing symptoms. These symptoms are often present as self-harm, substance abuse, depression, anxiety, aggression, suicidality, as well as disordered eating. - Provide supervision, support, and positive role modeling for youth, assisting with behavior management and crisis intervention.
- Educate and empower youth in developing essential life skills and fostering healthy relationships.
- Collaborate closely with our team to create a nurturing environment that promotes growth and healing.
- Engage students in a range of enriching activities, from arts and crafts to outdoor adventures.

- High school diploma or GED required; college education preferred.
- CPR certification preferred.
- Minimum of 1-year full-time experience working with children, or equivalent in human services credits and experience.
- Valid driver's license preferred; must be 21+ years old.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
- Successful completion of background and pre-employment checks.
