Now hiring for a full-time LPN Supervisor for our Assisted Living/Adult Care Facility!

Essential Job Functions Include:

  • Assist with Resident admissions, transfers, and discharges under the direction of site Administrator.
  • Welcome Residents and oversee brief orientation to surroundings. Begin initial care plans.
  • Use Resident assessments to help set measurable goals and objectives in care plans that meets a Residents physical, mental, and psychosocial needs.
  • Deliver and supervise resident care, based upon established care plans.
  • May assist with medications and treatments as ordered by the residents physician when necessary.
  • Supervise Resident Aides. Monitor the care they provide to Residents. Act as a role model for non-licensed staff.
  • On-call responsibilities.
  • Additional duties as assigned by the Assisted Living Administrator.

Requirements:

  • Required to be a New York State Licensed Practical Nurse.
  • Geriatric nursing experience preferred.
  • Long Term Care experience preferred.
  • Supervision and teaching experience preferred.
  • Computer skills required.
  • CPR certified or willing to become CPR certified.
  • Knowledge of dementia and related disorders is helpful.
  • Must demonstrate skill in scheduling, organizing, leadership, quality improvement, and delegation.
  • Must be able to respond with flexibility to area needs.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language in an understandable manner.
  • Must be able to perform essential job functions (reasonable accommodation may apply.)
  • Must be able to function independently, have flexibility, personal integrity and the ability to work effectively with Residents, staff, visitors, volunteers, government agencies/personnel, etc. under all conditions and circumstances.
