Mysha is seeking an energetic, creative, and detail-oriented Event and Community Coordinator to
oversee end-to-end event logistics, guest communication, and overall execution of memorable events for the Mysha community.
Mysha hosts in-person, facilitated events throughout our NYC, LA, and Miami regional hubs that drive connections for new moms. In this position, you will work closely with Mysha's Head of Experience and Community Manager to manage the full spectrum of behind-the-scenes details from pre-event
planning to event production to post-event follow-up and communications.
This role is perfect for someone who can seamlessly manage multiple projects, often up to 8 events at
once — while keeping a keen eye on every detail.
You are highly organized, proactive, and visually creative.
You derive satisfaction and joy from bringing together all the details to create impactful
events and gatherings and enjoy contributing to the look, feel and vibe of an event (see Mysha's
Instagram for recent event footage).
You will be on-the-ground for many of our official Mysha events
designing table scapes, working with vendors and partners, coordinating gift bags, and setting the
visual tone for our guests. If you're a hyper-organized self-starter who thrives in small, collaborative
team settings, we'd love to meet you.
Key Responsibilities:
Event coordination, planning, execution, and promotion (you may be planning up to 8 events at any
given time)
● Collaborate closely with Mysha's Head of Experience and Head of Community to align event
goals with our community's needs.
● Manage all event logistics, from initial planning to post-event wrap-up, ensuring thorough
preparation for every detail.
● Create RSVP Luma (our event software) pages for each event and oversee guest registration.
● Create event collateral in Canva
● Track guest lists, invitations, and cancellations, maintaining accuracy throughout the planning
process.
● Serve as the primary contact during events, overseeing onsite logistics and troubleshooting any
last-minute issues for a seamless experience.
● Collect photos and content from events to share with the social media manager for post-event
promotion.
Manage event vendor and partner relationships:
● Build and maintain positive relationships with vendors to ensure high-quality service and
smooth event execution (e.g., food and beverage vendors, photographers, venue partners, etc.).
● Coordinate and communicate with venues and partners, ensuring clarity and efficiency in event
logistics.
● Send out the “Run of Show” to all involved parties leading up to events to ensure clear
communication and alignment.
Manage all guest communication and event content (photos, assets for sharing):
● Send pre/post event emails with reminders, final details, and the guest list.
● Handle post-event follow-ups with vendors and members, connecting attendees and providing
relevant notes or resources from the event.
● Capture event content when present and share content from events w/ our social media team
General project management and administrative support for the Mysha team
● In addition to event planning, coordination, and execution, a percentage of your time will be
supporting a variety of administrative tasks that make the Mysha community run (e.g.,
managing new member data, coordinating guests for virtual events and conversations). This is
an opportunity to collaborate with multiple members of the Mysha team and to support all
functions of the company (member relations, marketing, operations).
● You'll be expected to also have a presence in some of our virtual Mysha pods to understand the
community and its members.
● As bandwidth allows, you may manage select internal projects that help the Mysha team
operate more efficiently and effectively.
Skills, Experience & Mindset
● Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple events and prioritize tasks
efficiently across multiple deadlines
● Extreme attention to detail
● Proactive, self-starter who can work independently to execute on a vision and anticipate event
needs.
● Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and a natural ability to build relationships
with vendors, team members and community members.
● Familiarity with Canva for creating event materials and graphics
● Proficient in Google workspace tools including Google Docs, Google Spreadsheets, and
willingness to learn new software applications used by the Mysha team (e.g., Notion)
● Team player who works collaboratively with a no task too big, no task too small” attitude
● Creative thinker and innovative problem solver—always looking beyond the available options
when up against roadblocks and unafraid to negotiate
● You understand how to create thoughtful, engaging experiences that resonate with group
dynamics and strategic objectives (e.g. combining goals of member connection alongside
highlighting a partner brand or speaker)
● You are looking for a meaningful work experience that will broaden your network personally and
professionally
● Hungry to learn and grow, always looking for feedback and ways to improve
● You thrive in a fast-paced, environment and are comfortable navigating change and
redirection
