Molding well-rounded, faith-filled, ethical leaders is the essence of the university's approach and all employees are expected to engage in a way that fulfills and furthers the mission.JOB SUMMARY:Under the direction of Events Manager an Event Attendant of University of Saint Francis is an efficient, hardworking, and creative individual, who provides outstanding customer service, and is an enthusiastic professional able to build relationships with all guests attending activities hosted at university-owned venues. The Events Attendant will provide oversight of all aspects of an event to meet venue and guest needs, and provide custodial care as needed to ensure cleanliness of reserved facilities. This position requires the Event Attendant to have the ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. The Event Attendant must demonstrate willingness and ability to support and actively contribute to the Catholic and Franciscan mission and values of the university.Major Responsibilities/Activities* Provide outstanding customer service to meet guest needs for events hosted in university venues.* Assist with opening procedures to assure venue(s) readiness for guests' arrival and closing procedures to shut down and secure venue(s).* Serve as greeter, usher, ticket-taker, concessions staff, and/or custodian to successfully fulfill guest and venue needs.* Must be willing to perform other duties as requested or as emergencies dictate.USF WAY:University of Saint Francis (USF) employees demonstrate a commitment to the University's mission and support of its Catholic and Franciscan traditions.
