Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and motivated Event Concierge Manager to lead and grow our team of event concierges. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our concierge team provides top-tier service to all potential clients while also driving the operational and strategic direction of the department. As the Event Concierge Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations, manage and develop your team, and play a key role in scaling our inbound and eventually outbound lead generation efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Manage and lead the team of event concierges, including recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and, when necessary, making decisions on staffing.
- Operational Excellence: Ensure the concierge team is efficiently handling all inbound leads, with a focus on providing prompt, professional, and helpful responses.
- Client Relations: Oversee the booking of venue tours and ensure the team is effectively using their sales skills to convert leads into clients.
- CRM Management: Optimize the use of HubSpot CRM across the team to maintain high response times and accurate lead tracking.
- Process Improvement: Continuously assess and improve processes to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the concierge team.
- Outbound Strategy Development: Work with senior leadership to develop and implement outbound lead generation strategies as the role expands.
- Concierge Duties: Step in as needed to manage high-priority leads and ensure a consistent level of service during peak times or when the team requires additional support.
- Collaboration: Partner with the events team and other departments to ensure a seamless transition from lead generation to event execution.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a leadership role, preferably in sales, hospitality, or event management.
- Strong background in customer service, with a track record of managing and developing high-performing teams.
- Proficiency in using CRM systems, particularly HubSpot, to drive team performance and manage leads.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and lead a team.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to scale operations and contribute to business growth.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs and work schedules, including weekends or evenings as required.
