These events range from fundraising initiatives and community preparedness workshops to post-disaster community rebuilding events. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented, proactive planner with a passion for community service and the ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:Plan, coordinate, and execute various events, including but not limited to fundraising activities, educational workshops, community engagement events, and volunteer coordination efforts.Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure event success, aligning with the organization's goals and mission.Manage all aspects of event planning, including venue selection, vendor management, budgeting, marketing, and logistics.Monitor event timelines and ensure all deadlines are met.Serve as the main point of contact for event stakeholders, including sponsors, vendors, volunteers, and community members.Evaluate event success and provide detailed reports with recommendations for future improvements.Stay informed about disaster management trends and incorporate relevant themes into event planning to enhance community engagement and education.
