Job Description:

Bryant's Rent-All is a family owned and operated rental company located in Lexington, KY. We offer Kentucky's largest event rental inventory including tents, chairs, tables, china, glassware, linens, catering supplies and more!

We are looking for an organized and dependable Event Coordinator who wants to create a lasting career in the party and event rental industry. The primary responsibility of the Event Coordinator is to assist clients with reserving rental items for their event while providing outstanding customer service.

Our event coordinators have the satisfaction of helping coordinate rentals for some of the largest events in Central Kentucky while maintaining a standard work schedule. They also have the privilege of working with and networking with some of the best event vendors in our area.

Responsibilities:

  • Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department.
  • Answer clients' questions and process rental orders over the phone and via email.
  • Greet walk-in clients. Assist with any questions or process rental reservations for these clients.
  • Assist will-call clients who are picking items up. Obtain client signatures, final payments, and other necessary information.
  • Communicate rental fees and provide information about rental items such as operation, description, and damage waiver.
  • Utilize rental software to create, modify, and manage reservations. Maintain rental inventory. Alert supervisor to any overbookings.
  • Update and call overdue list daily. Alert supervisor of overdue contracts.
  • Provide pricing quotes as needed for customers.
  • Recommend rental equipment to clients based on their individual needs.
  • Coordinate site visits between client and tent/warehouse management.
  • Use CAD program to produce layouts for clients' events.
  • Communicate all event details with internal staff to ensure a smooth event.
  • Maintain appearance of showroom. Update displays as needed.
  • Attend networking events when possible.
  • Stay up-to-date on event trends.
  • Assist with various marketing projects.

Education, Skills, & Requirements:

  • Schedule is M-F 8am-5pm, & at least two Saturdays per month 8am-noon.
  • High school diploma or equivalent GED.
  • Efficient communicator and excellent customer service skills.
  • Computer knowledge is preferred. Training on rental software will be provided.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive.
