JOOLA is for looking for an experienced Event Coordinator with a passion for growth and interest in pickleball!

JOOLA was first established in 1952 and built a global reputation as a pioneer in table tennis. In 2022, JOOLA expanded into the rapidly growing pickleball scene and quickly attracted the biggest names in the sport. As an official table tennis sponsor for three Summer Olympic Games and the official sponsor of pickleball's top athletes and the Professional Pickleball Association (PPA), the team at JOOLA combines its storied expertise with fresh perspectives to bring innovation to both sports. JOOLA creates a variety of equipment, apparel, and accessories for both table tennis and pickleball players, professional and recreational. We are seeking an organized and dynamic Events Coordinator to assist in planning and executing JOOLA-sponsored events, including pickleball tournaments, table tennis competitions, and other branded engagements. Reporting to the Events Manager, this individual will play a critical role in ensuring the success of our events by coordinating logistics, managing participants, and delivering exceptional experiences.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of JOOLA-sponsored events, including pickleball and table tennis tournaments.
  • Collaborate with the Events Manager to create detailed event timelines and schedules.
  • Handle event logistics, including venue setup, equipment transportation, and vendor coordination.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for participants, volunteers, and sponsors during events.
  • Ensure compliance with event regulations and safety protocols.
  • Monitor event budgets and track expenses to ensure cost efficiency.
  • Support marketing efforts, including social media and email campaigns, to promote events.
  • Maintain accurate records of event data, including attendance, feedback, and outcomes.
  • Assist in post-event reporting and analysis to identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of proven experience in planning and organizing events (sporting events are preferred).
  • Bachelor's degree in related field.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and event management software.
  • Willingness to travel and work weekends as required for events.
  • Knowledge of pickleball and table tennis is a plus.
