We are seeking a dedicated Senior Event Manager to oversee and execute a wide variety of events, ensuring exceptional client satisfaction and a seamless catering experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Event Planning and Strategy:
    • Develop and implement comprehensive event plans, including objectives, timelines, budgets, and resources.
    • Conduct research to identify new event opportunities and industry trends.
    • Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to define event goals, themes, and target audiences.
  • Event Coordination:
    • Oversee all aspects of event logistics, including venue selection, vendor management, catering, audio/visual setup, and transportation.
    • Ensure events are executed smoothly and within budget.
    • Coordinate with the marketing and communications teams to promote events and ensure consistent branding.
  • Program Development:
    • Design event programs that align with client objectives and engage attendees.
    • Schedule and coordinate speakers, facilitators, and entertainment.
    • Develop detailed agendas and timelines.
  • Team Leadership and Collaboration:
    • Lead and mentor a team of event planners and coordinators.
    • Collaborate closely with catering and kitchen staff to ensure a seamless transition from preparation to delivery.
    • Foster a collaborative and positive team environment.
  • Budget and Quality Management:
    • Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring all financial targets are met.
    • Conduct thorough quality checks to ensure all orders and event details meet client requirements.
    • Negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers to secure the best rates and services.
  • Client Communication and Service:
    • Maintain professional and friendly communication with clients via email and phone.
    • Confirm orders with clients, distribute updates to appropriate parties, and follow up on payments.
    • Address any discrepancies or issues promptly.
  • Event Marketing and Promotion:
    • Work with the marketing team to develop and implement promotional strategies and materials.
    • Utilize various channels to drive event attendance and engagement.
  • Event Evaluation:
    • Conduct post-event evaluations to assess success and identify areas for improvement.
    • Compile and present event reports, including feedback, attendance data, and financial summaries.

    Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
    • 2-3 years of relevant experience in event planning, management, and catering.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
    • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple events simultaneously.
    • Physical ability to lift and carry catering equipment and food containers.
    • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
    • Previous experience in event planning and coordination.
    • Familiarity with event management software and tools.
    • Knowledge of current event technology trends.
