Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Event Manager who specializes in executing brand activations and events to join our team. This role will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing buzzy events that drive Bloom's story IRL - enhancing brand awareness and equity as well as customer and community engagement. The Event Manager will oversee vendor management, budgeting, on-site execution, etc. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail oriented and able to travel.
Responsibilities:
Event Strategy & Planning:
* Execute the strategy for events at Bloom, including but not limited to brand pop ups and owned experiences, sponsorship and partnership activations, and internal Bloom team events
* Oversee all event logistics such as the internal brainstorm and planning processes, production schedules and run of shows, set-up, tear-down, shipping, vendor and agency sourcing and management, etc
* Manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions without compromising quality or brand image
Vendor & Partner Management:
* Source vendors and supplies needed for all events, including custom branded items
* Manage relationships with external vendors and agencies, venues, suppliers, and partners to ensure all event requirements are met within budget and timeline
On-Site Event Execution:
* Lead on-site execution, ensuring all elements of the event run smoothly, troubleshooting any issues, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience
* Represent Bloom at brand events as needed
Cross functional collaboration
* Work closely with the PR, Marketing, and Logistics teams to align event objectives to ensure a consistent brand message
* Collaborate with Brand and Creative teams to develop concept and assets
* Assist Trade Marketing team with execution as needed for trade shows and field marketing initiatives
Post-Event Analysis:
* Analyze the performance and ROI of each event, gathering feedback and insights to improve future activations
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Event Management, or a related field.
* 3-5+ years of relevant experience: experiential, production, event management at a brand or agency
* Experience in CPG / wellness / beauty preferred, thrives in a fast paced start up environment
* Strong project management and executional skills with the ability to juggle multiple events and priorities simultaneously
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
* Creative problem-solving skills and the strong ability to make quick decisions and stay calm under pressure
* Natural leader with the ability and confidence to oversee on site executions and be the main POC for internal and external teams
* Familiarity with digital marketing and social media promotion strategies for events as well as pop culture trends
* Ability to travel frequently and work flexible hours, including weekends, as required for events
