Since 1966, we have been helping athletes experience the hope and purpose that comes from following Jesus, and equipping them to use their platform to be part of God's mission in the world to make disciples of all nations.Job Description:We are seeking an Event Sales Coordinator to drive sales and provide exceptional service for events held on campus. The ideal candidate will excel in meeting sales goals, managing client relationships, and ensuring seamless communication to our team to deliver exceptional experiences for our guests.Key Responsibilities:● Develop and execute a comprehensive plan to meet increasing annual revenue goals for SCRC, consisting primarily of Sports Complex, Wooden Family Fieldhouse, Conference Center, Challenge Course and Schindler Banquet Center.● Proactively utilize all available tools and systems to retain previous guests and consistently attract new guests, events, and groups.● Provide detailed event proposals to potential guests in a timely manner, ensure accurate and timely communication to the operations team, and assist in event fulfillment and post event evaluations.● Maintain and submit detailed weekly and monthly reports, including but not limited to sales activity (phone calls, face to face meetings, proposals, campus tours, etc.), revenue projections, retention percentage, and closing rates.● Assist as needed in executing events, hosting and serving guests in SCRC - including setup, teardown, serving, and monitoring.● Creatively pursue new revenue streams.● Flexibility to work evenings and weekends when needed.Education and/or Experience:● Bachelor's degree preferred● 3 - 5 years of experience in the hospitality and sales industry or similar sales position, andwith a proven track record of successful results.
