Also, OVG provides part-time, seasonal, and internship employees with one hour of accrued paid leave per 30 hours worked, up to 48 hours per year.EVERGREEN ROLE: Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis; there is no application deadlineAbout the VenueAs a leading entertainment venue, PPG Paints Arena is the regional epicenter for athletic events, concerts, and family shows in Western Pennsylvania, and home to the NHL's Pittsburgh Penguins.Responsibilities* Deliver superior guest service while ensuring proper building and governmental protocols are being followed.* Respond to requests for assistance from staff and visitors for a variety of security issues (fire, medical emergencies, etc.)* Ensure all safety and building guidelines are being followed, and proper security checks are conducted during guest entry.* Assist in the control and safety of all guests that visit the facility.* Ensure crowd control stays at a reasonable level and assist in emergency situations and conflicts as needed.* Interact with the public and all levels of management and fellow employees.* Enforce rules and regulations of the facility.* Provide directional assistance, as needed, by being knowledgeable about locations throughout the facility.* Provide professionalism, courtesy, and respect to all guests and fellow employees.QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
