Job Description:The Event Specialist oversees the planning and implementation of small to mid-size firm-wide client events. This position leads the entirety of the event planning cycle from venue sourcing and budget creation to onsite execution. The Event Specialist aids Event Managers with larger, more complex firm-wide client events and assists the team with administrative duties. The Event Specialist works under minimal supervision relies on extensive experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals.Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
  • Plan and coordinate small to mid-size firm-wide events including networking receptions, dinners, and brief programming style events
  • Coordinate event logistics such as venue sourcing, budget creation and management, vendor management, F&B selections, audiovisual needs, and creative needs. Travel onsite for day-of execution
  • Ensure all events are delivered at the highest standard and both internal and external stakeholders receive an optimal event experience from initial planning to day-of execution
  • Track event expenses and ensure all events remain within financial guidelines
  • Provide post-event analysis and reports, including attendance, feedback, and areas for improvement
  • Interface with senior executives and VIP attendees during the event, providing excellent customer service
  • Lead internal event planning calls and project manage stakeholders on deliverables
  • Research and recommend event themes, venues, and accompanying specifications, including the development of event budgets
  • Assist Event Managers on the team with more complex events and administrative duties
Job Specifications:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • At least three (3) years of event planning experience
  • Proven ability to plan and execute high-end events
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word)
  • Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Ability to work independently and under own direction and initiative
  • Ability to travel and oversee events operations as needed

Target Hiring Range $89,000 - $113,000Please note that quoted salary ranges are not guarantees of what final salary offers may be. Base pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location.
