Position: Full time/ExemptWork Schedule: A typical work day consists of 8 hours plus a half-hour unpaid lunch break, 5 days per week; however, work hours may vary based on the school's needs. - Create engaging text, image and video content for Dayspring's websites, social media accounts, and Parent Square.
- Design posts to sustain readers' curiosity and create buzz around new products/events
- Stay up-to-date with changes in all social platforms ensuring maximum effectiveness
- Train co-workers to use social media in a cohesive and beneficial manner
- Facilitate online conversations with customers and respond to queries
- Suggest new ways to attract prospective customers, like promotions and competitions
Event Responsibilities
- Event planning, design and production while managing all project elements within time limits
- Liaise with co-workers, stakeholder and clients to identify their needs and to ensure customer satisfaction
- Conduct market research, gather information and negotiate contracts prior to closing any deals
- Provide feedback and periodic reports to stakeholders
- Propose ideas to improve provided services and event quality
- Organize facilities and manage all event's details such as decor, catering, entertainment, transportation, location, invitee list, special guests, equipment, promotional material etc
- Ensure compliance with insurance, legal, health and safety obligations
- Specify staff requirements and coordinate their activities
- Coordination of all marketing and PR to promote and publicize events
- Proactively handle any arising issues and troubleshoot any emerging problems on the event day
JOB CLASSIFICATION/REPORTS TOOffice ManagerRequirementsQUALIFICATIONS
- Associates degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or related field; Bachelor of Arts degree is a plus
- Excellent communication skills, including writing, proofreading skills, and speaking
- Experience with promoting events via social media
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work assignments from a variety of staff and volunteers
- Excellent interpersonal skills both in person and by phone, with high professionalism
- Ability to accomplish projects with minimal supervision
- Fantastic customer service ethic and high expectations for quality
- Must be able to work some nights and weekends
- Position includes some travel
