Responsibilities:
  • Effectively execute preparation and service of Banquet functions.
  • Assist the Executive Chef, Banquet Chef and Sous Chef in maintaining department standards for food quality control, safety, sanitation, and staff management for assigned shift.
  • Have thorough knowledge to prepare all items for every station and the ability to work every station when needed. Ensure consistency in all presentations and preparations according to recipes, portion size and established quality standards.
  • Responsible for ensuring sanitation levels are kept high, by all subordinates and yourself.
  • Assist Banquet Chef and Sous Chef in food quality control and management/training of staff.
Qualifications
  • 2 years of experience in a cook's position in a quality kitchen.
  • Ability to lift objects weighing up to 35 pounds.
  • Standing or walking to a significant degree.
