Accurately prepare quote/purchase requests, reconciliation of department card purchases/payments; and process all department expenditures. Serve as the administrative assistant for departmental public service programming. Supervise student workers. Manage Box Office operations. Assist chairs with accreditation data. Other duties as assigned.Required Qualifications
  • Knowledge of general office practice and procedures.
  • Ability to set priorities, manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and creatively solve problems.
  • Knowledge of general office practices, procedures, and equipment.
  • Experience providing programmatic and/or administrative support in an academic or professional environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to use various computer applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to work with confidential information.
  • Demonstrated organizational, written, and verbal communication skills with the ability to relate well with various people.
Additional Considerations
  • Strong fiscal/bookkeeping experience. Working knowledge of Banner, eVA, Cognos, People Admin and EPAF preferred.
  • Working knowledge of university policies and procedures related to the fiscal process.
  • Supervisory experience is a plus.
  • Preference for an associate's degree in business-related field.
