Job Description:
Office management for the Departments of Dance and Theatre (reception, records, class scheduling, appointment scheduling, data collection/analysis, research and inventory) and primary point of contact for division information; manage multiple division/grant budgets; manage Dance & Theatre production preparation (contracts, payment, travel i.e. meals, transportation, lodging). Accurately prepare quote/purchase requests, reconciliation of department card purchases/payments; and process all department expenditures. Serve as the administrative assistant for departmental public service programming. Supervise student workers. Manage Box Office operations. Assist chairs with accreditation data. Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
* Knowledge of general of?ce practice and procedures.
* Ability to set priorities, manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and creatively solve problems.
* Knowledge of general of?ce practices, procedures, and equipment.
* Experience providing programmatic and/or administrative support in an academic or professional environment.
* Demonstrated ability to use various computer applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
* Ability to work with con?dential information.
* Demonstrated organizational, written, and verbal communication skills with the ability to relate well with various people.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Strong ?scal/bookkeeping experience. Working knowledge of Banner, eVA, Cognos, People Admin and EPAF preferred.
* Working knowledge of university policies and procedures related to the ?scal process.
* Supervisory experience is a plus.
* Preference for an associate's degree in business-related ?eld.
