As the linchpin between events and catering teams, you will be the architect of impeccable guest experiences, ensuring that every detail aligns with the pinnacle of excellence. Your days will be filled with a myriad of responsibilities, from collaborating on sophisticated sales strategies to seamlessly coordinating catering services for a diverse array of events. With creativity as your compass, you'll navigate the intricacies of event planning, crafting bespoke experiences that leave an indelible mark on our guests.
- Manage incoming wedding and catering inquiries, build bookings in Delphi, and manage events calendar with wedding and events sales manager.
- Collaborate with the events and catering team to develop and implement effective strategies to attract clients for weddings, events and catering services.
- Act as a liaison between various departments, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
- Support with the booking and planning of events, ranging from corporate meetings to social gatherings, while considering clients' preferences and needs.
- Assist in the creation of proposals, contracts, and event orders, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Maintain detailed records of client interactions, contracts, and event details for future reference.
- Conduct site visits with clients to showcase event spaces and discuss specific requirements.
- Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to secure necessary resources for events, negotiating contracts when necessary.
- Assist in marketing efforts to promote events and catering services, including the creation of promotional materials and social media content.
- Administrative tasks including but not limited to, BEO distribution, resume distribution, events reporting, in house meeting and event support.
- Ability to stand for long hours. Ability to sit at a desk for long hours. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
QualificationsEducation:
- Any combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. High school graduate required. College education is preferred.
Experience:
- 2+ years of experience in luxury hospitality or event space preferred, but not required.
