Summary/Objective
We have an excellent opportunity for a full-time Event Coordinator. The Event Coordinator will work closely with the corporate marketing and sales team to plan support, and execute complex corporate meetings, lunch & learns, and special events. Qualified candidates must be highly detail organized, able to juggle multiple responsibilities at the same time, and be able to quickly recognize, analyze, and solve problems.
Essential Functions/ Responsibilities
* Coordinate all logistics such as venue search, vendor procurement and management, contract negotiation, hotel accommodations, food and beverage service, meeting room setup, etc.
* Serve as a liaison between facilities and event participants as manager and host of event.
* Manage event calendar by working with marketing / sales teams on scheduling, collateral requests, and event messaging.
* Draft and send event communications to attendees.
* Support Tradeshow Manager and team as necessary.
* Administrative tasks as assigned.
* Considerable travel may be involved.
Qualifications
* 3 years of corporate event planning experience
* Ability to quickly recognize, analyze, and solve problems
* Shows initiative and follow-through skills
* Ability to prioritize and multi-task to meet tight deadlines
* Easily adapt to ever-changing circumstances
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Experience with Salesforce.com and email marketing software is a plus
Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
Education and Experience

* Bachelor's Degree in marketing, communications, English, public relations, or journalism
* Experience using email marketing automation tools (Pardot preferred)
* Excellent writing and editing skills - skills including graphic design is preferred
* Strong planning, organizational and presentation abilities
* Ability to work well multi-functionally across key communication teams
* A foundational understanding of effective marketing techniques
* Experience with sales-based emails and customer communication
* Ability to think creatively and innovatively and easily adapt to change
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers, photocopiers and smartphones.
