Responsible for handling sales, creation, planning and execution of member and non-member events.
Operational Responsibilities:
* Ensures proper event execution including but not limited to, promotion, room set-up, menu creation, pricing, client meetings and communication, sales, invoice processing, and correspondence.
* Provide an on-site presence at critical junctures in event execution, inspecting room arrangements and attending to event details.
* Complete pre-event pricing and post event analysis.
* Manage billing to ensure prompt payment of all events.
* Complete check request forms seven days prior to event.
* Partner with Member Experience Coordinator to capitalize on software communication tools to promote events and activities.
* Respond to event inquiries from members and non-members within 24-48 business hours.
* Respond to member insight feedback within 24-48 business hours.
* Partner with Event Coordinator to ensure presence at all events.
* Responsible for scheduling event staff in partnership with executive club management.
* Collect, prepare and analyze event data. Report to executive staff and board as needed.
* Prepare and submit event summaries to F&B Manager.
* Support balance between Member Events and Outside Event Sales to increase revenue and profit margins.
* Completes other tasks and work assignments as requested by the F&B Manager.
* Education: college degree and private club experience preferred
* Valid driver's license
* Ability to prioritize and work with little direct supervision.
* Strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
* Strong technical/computer skills with experience promoting events.
* Able to work evenings and weekends.
* TIPS alcohol certification required.
* ServSafe Certified required.
