We are seeking a passionate and organized Events Coordinator to join our team and play a key role in supporting, planning, and executing corporate events. The ideal candidate will have experience in event coordination, a strong attention to detail and a genuine interest in events coordination. This is a Returnship position, open to women who have taken 2 years or more career break. Our mission is to provide opportunities for professional growth, skill development and reintegration into the workforce through meaningful and engaging opportunities and development.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Support, plan, coordinate and execute and oversee various corporate events, webinars and workshops.
* Support and coordinate media events, including check presentations, groundbreakings, ribbon cuttings and events surrounding grant announcements.
* Support and coordinate logistics such as venue selection, catering, audiovisual setup, and transportation arrangements for both virtual and in-person events.
* Manage and track promotional inventory.
* Participate in budget development.
* Learn and ultimately manage online registration via event management system and onsite event registration as needed, and support post-event analytics.
* Provide onsite event support, including overseeing setup, registration and participant management.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree required with a major in events planning, public relations, hospitality management, business administration, communications, or related field.
* 3+ years of corporate events management experience, preferably in professional services.
* Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
