FLSA Status:Non-ExemptDepartment:Eventive - OperationsReports to:TBD - Depending on EventGeneral Purpose:Join the dynamic and customer experience focused team at Eventive Sports Properties, LLC, a Troon Company as an Event Assistant. As part of our team Event Assistants will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service and creating memorable experiences for event attendees. Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:Essential Duties:Assist with event set-up, including arranging equipment, placing signage, and other tasks as assignedMonitor event areas to ensure cleanliness, organization and compliance with venue policiesAnswer questions and provide information about event, facilities, and amenities to guestsAddress guest inquiries, complaints, or issues promptly and professionallyCollaborate with event staff, vendors, and team members to ensure event operationsAdhere to company policies, procedures, and guidelines to maintain a high standard of professionalism and service excellenceEducation/Experience:Previous experience working sporting/entertainment events is an advantage, but not requiredPhysical Demands:Ability to be on your feet for extended periods of timeAbility to lift heavy items (chairs, coolers, tables, etc.) (50+lbs)Ability to work long and strenuous hours (12+ hour work days during events)Ability to assemble, disassemble, repair, or modify structures and work with various tools and equipment (including but not limited to saws, drills, hammers, nails, screwdrivers, paint sprayers, box cutters, knives, motor vehicles/trucks/golf carts/etc.)Environment/Noise:This position primarily involves working outdoors at various event locations. Candidates should be prepared to work in diverse weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain and wind.The work environment may expose employees to moderate to high noise levels due to event activities, crowds and equipment.Certificates/Licenses:Valid Driver's LicenseJob Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Preferences:Knowledge/interest in sports is an advantage, but not requiredThis job description is not an exclusive or exhaustive list of all job functions that an associate in this position may be asked to perform from time to time.
